Courses & Costs

Our courses are committed to training the over 16’s into becoming experienced and accomplished stage and TV actors. No matter what experience you have, our workshops can be beneficial to the most experienced of actors. If acting is something you have always fancied trying, then our foundation course is perfect for developing hidden talents. Many people who have completed our courses have noticed an improvement not only in their acting ability, but also an improvement of self-confidence in general life.

*Each lesson is approximately 2 hours long and costs £15.00 per lesson*
*Each course (one lesson per week) lasts for 16 weeks.*
There are two 16 week courses available:-
(a) foundation course (b) advanced course
Our foundation courses are structured around 16 modules (1 module per week). This enables people to join at any time. The classes are held every Saturday afternoons 2 – 4pm and on Wednesday evenings 6 – 8pm at our studios in Bolton. The foundation modules are as follows:     Movement, Physical Theatre, Characterisation, Trust, Mime, Voice & projection, Senses, Camera Work, Memory, Role-Play, Script Interpretation, Belief, Intimacy, Monologues, Comedy and Emotions. Upon completion of the foundation course each person will receive a certificate of completion and will have a good understanding as to what is required to be an actor.
Our advanced courses are a lot more intense. This is where students are pushed to see if they have what is required to be a professional actor, upon completion of this course students will perform a showcase. Those who excel maybe invited to be represented by Stirling Management.
